Jag, I just wanted to send my love, and prayers during this difficult time. Mel is someone that I respected greatly, and even when we did not see eye to eye anymore, I still held much respect for her. God Bless You Mel, and may the Angels keep watch over your family, both real life, and internet.

Dear Jag, I am sorry to hear about Mel. Our thoughts are with you and your family. Reflections Dominant Leader: It wasn’t enough for Mel to just acknowledge some one, she was a person of depth. All who knew Mel know she was selfless when someone needed help, she was ruthless and unforgiving when someone was rude, and she was caring and loving to her real and online family. Those qualities define a mother or a pack leader. She was truly a Pack Dominant Leader with a kind but firm touch that was felt by everyone who came close. Selfless: Many people know Mel from her shows or game sites and based on that have made an opinion. The few that had interacted with Mel on a personal level and won her trust would tell you behind this mountain of a woman was a fragile person with fears, worries, and wishes. Not for herself, but for her daughter, her grandson her husband and her pets. Mel had a rough life from the very beginning due to family problems. She had to solve and cope with these problems on her own and move on in her life. For that she was rewarded and blessed with two very loving and caring husbands who she adored. Stricken with cancer and other health issues Mel fought against the odds and showed all that it wasn’t her time to go and that she would come back even stronger than before. While she was herself in need of help she was organizing help for others who were stricken by fate or illness. Firm: Many would say Mel was somewhat aggressive in her way of presenting her opinion and yes her opinions were a source of conflict with her surroundings. I respect her for the capability to stand her ground when facing the music from the people around her and on the Internet who thought otherwise. In the end, the end of the journey for Mel here was reached. The end of a journey is an arrival at a destination and Mel is there at her destination, leaving behind a gap a feeling of emptiness for her loved ones and close friends. Mel touched everyone she met, Mel left her mark on us all and Mel made sure we all felt it. Mel was in life a monument a blessing a refuge and a threat for those who deserved it. Mel is not dead, Mel lives on in us all. DBPEST. Goodbye Mel

Jag. I just found out about our beloved Mel. There are no words to say on how sorry I am. She was the sweetest woman. She was so wonderful to me when I lost my brother. She kept me laughing on my bad days.
I just found out today and my heart just went right into my stomach when I found out. I had never met her face to face but that didn't make it hurt any less.
I hope you know she watches you from the other side. *hugs*
